Finished: GK Dreadknight and SoB Penitent Engine

Hey guys!

So with the semester over and a couple of days free until the holiday, I’ve been able to rock through some commissions and just paint and relax.

Today, I’ve finished a couple of pieces for a friend of my at our FLGS. The Penitent Engine was just to see how it painted up, but the Dreadknight was for his son, which he wanted to give for Christmas. Each piece is probably about 4 hours or so to finish, and I’m very happy with both of them.

The sword is hand painted and hand blended; I think the lightning adds a nicer touch than the last one I did.

And for scale! The Engine’s about the same size as a Daemon Prince, while the Dreadknight…

Next up, Khador!

  1. Looking good. The Baby Stroller is a huge model...I like the concept, not sold on the model....
...but like mold it is growing on me.

  3. After doing two, I'm still not entirely sold on the model either Mags. I still think it looks better when the Terminator looks like he's actually inside the thing piloting it.
@Warhammer in Progress: Why thank you sir! The most time-consuming part was the sword, which, I feel, came out pretty sweet :) Glad you like the site!
