Finished: Space Wolf Grey Hunters and Add-ons

Hey guys,

So I sat down yesterday and really rallied out those Space Wolves! This group, still part of the other two Wolf groups I did, consisted of:

  • 10 Grey Hunters
  • 1 Wolf Guard with Power Fist/Combi-Melta
  • 4 SW Backpacks
  • 1 Replacement arm for a TWC

I affixed the backpacks and the arm to an extra piece of sprue to make it easier to paint.

Forgot a picture of the TWC arm, its nothing too special….

Also, for kicks, the Hunters come across the fell legions of Alpharius…

Alrighty guys, so I’ve got some finishing touches on the Tiger Shark to get done, and on Monday, I’ll be ordering some Land Raiders (yes, with an ‘S’), along with some FW doors, for a commission. I’m also in talks with a gentleman interested in getting his Tyranids painted. Finally, those Berserkers will be in on Monday, so my Chaos Marines will continue to grow!

Also, looks like the polls say you guys want me to finish the Princes of Ecstasy Terminators. Well, thy wills be done, Lantz can continue to live vicariously through my painting!

  2. I like the paint job a lot :) Only remark would be the redhead beardless grey hunter. If you go by fluff, grey hunters should all be bearded, and no red hair. Where did you get the combi melta btw. I need something like that a lot for my wolf guards :)

  3. @Student Teacher: Perhaps its the other way around sir! :)

@Adary: Why thank you! As for that bit of fluff...makes sense, I'm not a Wolves player, so I'd never read that before. The client's happy with the variation, so I'm cool with it! The Combi-Meltas, I believe, are from the SM Commander box. The client sent everything assembled, so that's my guess, I don't think there are any other plastic ones.
