Smells Like Wargaming Turns One! 1 Year Commission Totals!

Hey everyone,

I’d like to wish you all a happy 4th of July to us Americans! Its our 235th Birthday, and we still look damn sexy!

I would also like to wish the blog and Commission Painting business a happy One Year anniversary! It was about this time last year that I sat down with the idea to get a blog set up to promote both my commission painting business, but also to showcase our progress to BOLScon. After many trials, tribulations, mistakes, and perfect runs, Smells Like Wargaming is what you see now.

Yep, that’s right folks. Over 17k points of painted models, and at least 600 models painted for both commissions and personal projects!

Finally, to finish the post off, I finally finished my modified Black Reach Marine set.

Its about 660 Points, and has:

• Captain with Bolter and Power Sword
• 5 Tactical Terminators with Assault Cannon
• 10 Tactical Marines with Power Fist, Flamer, and Missile Launcher.
• Dreadnought with Multi-Melta/DCCW/Storm Bolter

Now, if anyone is interested in the force, I’ll cut them a deal. I’ll be doing a more formal post tomorrow to promote the whole group, but I’m really debating on getting this up to a playable level, then selling the whole army off. They’re quick, customizable, and look damn sexy on the table top!
