Painting: Blood Angels Furioso Librarian; Granesh Needs to Reset His Brain!

Hey guys,

So this is how I’m feeling right now:

School’s been kicking my butt, I’ll say it out loud. Papers, projects, presentations, etc., have been rocking my world. I’m at that point where I need to reset my brain for a couple of days, relax, and just let myself go. Thank the Emperor Thanksgiving Break is coming up, on top of a rather free weekend too. Everything just piled up at once, and I’m fighting through all of it.

Though, on the painting table, I can say I’m very happy with how this piece turned out. Currently working on a commission for Snake Eyes’ Angels Encarmine at Table Top War, I just had a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders regarding time, but I’ll have them all done this weekend.

Here’s my favorite piece, the Furioso Librarian Dreadnought. Since I’m essentially copying a prior paint scheme, I’ve been a little out of my element. The Red’s driving me crazy, and there’s not a drop of metallic paint on them either. So I think I pulled off both the Red and a quicker NMM rather nicely though.

The reds, blues, and greens really work well together, and the Force Weapons are reminiscent of the Dreadknight I did.

Also, some Assault Marines I’m finishing up:

 

Finally, this Sergeant is completely magnetized, from Bolt Pistol/Chainsword to Lightning Claw/Combat Shield.

Phew….I’m gonna get some sleep, and be ready to rock the rest of this tomorrow!
