Life: I Passed my 6+ “Faith in the Emperor” Save!

Hey everyone,

So I’m back, safe and sound, in Durango, though I’m not quite sure how. I decided to drive Red Mountain Pass, which is known to be quite dangerous here in Colorado. The roads were snowpacked and icy, and I don’t think I’ve ever had to drive in the snow in second gear with my Four Wheel Drive on…but I’m safe. Just for fun, here’s a picture of Durango right now:

As compared to the last time I took the picture:

Durango Snow

You can’t even see the mountains anymore its snowing that bad. Here’s to hoping I can get a massive painting day in tomorrow with a snow day!

Anyways, I’ve gotten the Crisis Suit Commander primed and ready to go, as well as some other projects I brought with me. I’ve cleaned my friend’s Rhino up a little, and am deciding on a decoration to do on the top hatch.

Should be a fun project! It surrounded by 4 of 6 guys which will make up my friend’s Honor Guard, which will accompany a Counts-As Pedro Kantor, shown on left, in Raven Guard colours.

I’ve also changed the poll, I’d like to get some feedback on a potential project I’ve been thinking about. Also, if interested in said project *wink wink*, you can email me at SmellsLikeWargaming@hotmail.com, and we’ll work something out!

  1. Whew! Glad you made it home safely, for me living on the coast in the South that sounds quite spooky. The difference between those pictures you showed of Durango is amazing... I hope you have a great day painting!

  2. Thanks Papa JJ, unfortunately school was still on, so I havent' gotten nearly any painting done today...well at least model-based painting. I'll put some pictures up of the art I'm working on too.
As for Durango, they have a saying in Colorado: "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes." I think its fitting...
